Cardiothoracic Surgery at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne

Cardiothoracic Surgery, which includes the Open Heart Surgery Unit, performs around 600 open heart procedures and 300 thoracic operative procedures each year. 

The unit has 21 beds, three of which are in the Intensive Care Centre.
